Sandhills Horse Country: Information on everything equine in the Moore County area.

The Senator Bob Martin Eastern Agricultural Center
Visit the newest, most complete Equine Facility and Agricultural Center on the U.S. East Coast.   Situated on 168 acres, the complex is easily accessible by taking Exit 512 from Highway 64.  The Ag Center hosts a variety of equine events including rodeos, wild horse sales/adoptions, hunter/jumper, dressage, barrel racing, reining, saddleseat, and driving shows sanctioned by USA Equestrian, NRHA, NBHA and AQHA. The
coliseum has seating for 2,400 spectators and boasts a 150’ by 300’ arena, a fully enclosed paddock and a 120’ by 240’ attached covered arena.  We have four barns with a total of 296 stalls, two outdoor warm-up arenas and three lunging rings. This state of the art, multi-facet facility can be utilized by all equine disciplines.

Triangle Rails-to-Trails Concervancy
(TRTC) is a state chartered non-profit, organization. Its purpose is to work with local and state government officials to preserve local abandoned railroad corridors for future transportation and other interim uses such as recreational trails. 
The TRTC works within the Triangle J Council of Governments Service area of Durham, Orange, Wake, Chatham, Johnston, and Lee counties.
