The American Horse Council represents the interest of
the horse industry in Washington. In its role as the
national federation of horse people and organizations,
the AHC gives the industry a forum to develop programs
and map policies for the future well being of the
industry. As the industry's legislative representative,
the AHC explains to congress and federal agencies how
proposed laws will affect the horse industry's interests
and what new regulations are needed to ensure a healthy
future. The AHC seeks to create an environment which
promotes a healthy respect for all disciplines and
breeds in the horse industry.
