The American Horse Council represents the interest of the horse industry in Washington. In its role as the national federation of horse people and organizations, the AHC gives the industry a forum to develop programs and map policies for the future well being of the industry. As the industry's legislative representative, the AHC explains to congress and federal agencies how proposed laws will affect the horse industry's interests and what new regulations are needed to ensure a healthy future. The AHC seeks to create an environment which promotes a healthy respect for all disciplines and breeds in the horse industry.

The web site has our show calendar, class lists for shows, photo albums, and other important information about the club.  We now have over 300 members in central North Carolina.  We are an open breed association with lots of youth and novice horse and rider classes at our approximately 14 shows each year. Individual membership is $15; family (up to 2 adults and all children at same address) is $25.  We do a monthly newsletter which is also posted to our web site.
